To avoid an incorrect interpretation of the message that appeared on social networks yesterday about the alleged transfer of the vehicle owned by Kumtor Gold Company CJSC to the balance sheet of the KR State Committee for Ecology and Climate, we would like to advise as follows:

The above vehicle is on the balance sheet of Kumtor Gold Company CJSC and has been provided to the KR State Committee for Ecology and Climate for temporary use only for working purposes due to the lack of technical equipment on the part of the State Committee and the operational requirement of the State Committee specialists to travel to off-road facilities. The off-road vehicle will facilitate the access of environmental experts and other specialists of the State Committee to facilities located in hard-to-reach areas of the country.

In addition, Kumtor Gold Company CJSC is most interested in the unhindered access of specialists of the KR State Committee for Ecology and Climate to the Kumtor mine site as part of their inspections, examinations, recommendations developed to eliminate violations and other activities having an impact on the company’s operation.
