Kumtor Gold Company CJSC announces a vacant position of

Senior Construction Foreman (Kumtor Mine)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Management of construction, installation and repair work;
• Issuing of permits and approvals for construction, installation and repair work;
• Construction planning in carrying out construction and repair work;
• Monitoring the compliance of construction and installation work with design documentation, health and safety, fire safety and environmental protection requirements;
• Organizing and controlling the work of contractor organizations;
• Maintaining regular, as-built and reporting documentation for construction projects;
• Participation in the commissioning of facilities.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Higher technical (a degree in Civil Engineering) education;
• Knowledge of:
  • construction and installation technologies and methods;
  • the procedure for issuing design and estimate documentation;
  • the order of facilities acceptance, quality control methods of the work performed;
  • arrangement of building and structural engineering systems;
  • construction standards, GOSTs, occupational health and safety regulations, and the following software programs: AutoCAD/ArchiCAD, MS Project, MS Office;
• Drawing interpretation skills;
• At least 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent;
• Availability of state-recognized certificates in building and installation work;
• Ability to multitask and work with large amounts of information, to prioritize and sequence tasks, and to work under pressure;
• Fit to work in high altitude conditions.
• Knowledge of English is an advantage;
