MEETING WITH PARTICIPANTS OF THE MINEX CENTRAL ASIA 2024 FORUM AT THE KUMTOR MINE: PRESENTATIONS, EXCURSIONS AND NEGOTIATIONS

On June 22, a meeting with participants of the international forum “MINEX Central Asia 2024” took place at the Kumtor mine. This event was a significant step for the exchange of views in the mining industry of Central Asian countries.

Kumtor Mine proudly hosted representatives of the largest international companies within the framework of the MINEX Central Asia 2024 Forum. Among the participants of the visit were such leading industry players as: Weir Company, Draslovka Holding, CMT Consulting Kazakhstan, Promprivod, Goliath Advisory, MMD Mineral Sizing, SRK Consulting, SRK Consulting, GRK Bystrinskoye, Alpha-Safety, SAEL, DBT, Advantix, Gorny Forum, ALS Kazakhstan, APS Resources, Kintsai Tianshan.

During the visit, the forum participants had a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the technologies and infrastructure of the Kumtor mine. The management of Kumtor Gold Company CJSC presented an extensive presentation highlighting the company’s current and future projects, as well as key technological solutions used in the process of gold mining, ecology and safe operation of the enterprise.

The meeting program included an introduction to various mine facilities, including the central pit, heavy duty workshop and the mill. Participants were able to get a closer look at the processes that ensure the efficient operation of the mine.

Special attention was paid to meetings and negotiations with the company’s management. These discussions have become a platform for discussing strategic directions, as well as opportunities for cooperation and innovative initiatives.

The forum participants expressed their appreciation for organizing the meeting at the mine site. The meeting at an altitude of more than 4,000 meters above sea level highlighted the importance of modern approaches to the mining industry and attention to sustainable development.
