Kumtor Gold Company Supported “School Year Is Close By” Act

Kumtor Gold Company has supported the event “School Year Is Close By” organized by the Public Fund For Protection of Orphaned Children. The purpose of the event is to help orphaned children prepare for the beginning of the new school year. Collection of humanitarian aid among the broad public was organized between August 3 and 27, 2014.

According to the Fund’s Executive Director, Igor Beliayev, support is supposed to be given to 500 kids. Gifts were donated by ordinary citizens as well as by large companies and organizations. Kumtor Company has also joined the initiative and donated 500 multicolored children’s encyclopaedias in Russian and Kyrgyz to the Fund.
