KUMTOR FINANCES THE CONSTRUCTION OF A KINDERGARTEN IN TEMIR-KANAT VILLAGE OF TON DISTRICT

Kumtor Gold Company Closed Joint Stock Company financed the construction of a kindergarten for 40 children in Temir-Kanat village of Ton district, Issyk-Kul region.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Almazbek Baryktabasov, President of Kumtor Gold Company, noted the importance of supporting initiatives aimed at improving the quality of pre-school and school education.

“A new kindergarten is always an important and enjoyable event that affects every family. With its opening, children will be able to socialize faster and get ready for school, which is extremely important for their successful future. Since most of the country’s population lives in rural areas, our company, which is the largest industrial enterprise in the country, will continue to support initiatives aimed at the construction of new local kindergartens and general education institutions,” the head of the Company emphasized.

At the request of local self-governments and villagers, Kumtor Gold Company also financed equipment, furniture and other necessary supplies for the kindergarten.

It should be noted that Kumtor Gold Company on an ongoing basis helps in the implementation of various projects, including in the field of pre-school and school education.

For example, last year the Company financed the purchase of personal computers, interactive whiteboards and projectors for educational institutions in Issyk-Kul and Naryn regions.

In addition, musical equipment and instruments were purchased for the Tyup District Administration and the Tyup Children’s Music School named after S. Orozov, and new methodological and didactic aids, children’s books and educational toys were purchased for the children of Special Preschool Educational Organization № 16 in Bishkek.
