Kumtor does not stop there and continues to actively invest in the development of social facilities that help improve the quality of education in the regions of our country.

In the first half of 2024, the company made a gift to the children of the Naryn region. A long-awaited mini-football field has appeared at the Nina Kan Zhundubayeva secondary school-gymnasium. This project was implemented thanks to the help of Kumtor Gold Company. Now young football players can regularly improve their skills and strive for new victories on the football field.  But that’s not all. The company also allocated funds to improve the computer science classroom in the secondary school of the village of Zhany-Zhol in the Naryn region. Thus, students can study modern information technologies in a comfortable and equipped environment that opens new horizons of knowledge and opportunities for them.

Vocational school No. 55 in the village of Barskoon, Jeti-Oguz district, Issyk-Kul region, also received significant support.

Earlier, Kumtor Gold Company helped to build a dormitory for 80 people and open a branch for 100 people in the village of Kyzyl-Suu, providing convenience and accessibility of education for lyceum students. The recent financial assistance to the lyceum has become another step towards the development of vocational education in the region.

The company did not forget about the smallest ones either. A kindergarten for 40 places was built and equipped in the village of Temir-Kanat in the Tonsky district, and a new kindergarten for 120 places appeared in the village of Ak-Suu in the Ak-Sui district of the Issyk-Kul region. All these projects will help to provide high-quality preschool education to children, creating a reliable foundation for their future.
