The President of Kumtor Gold Company CJSC Almazbek Baryktabasov, met with managers and employees of Kumtor mine.

Almazbek Baryktabasov noted that the past year was successful for Kumtor Gold Company.

“17 billion 241 million 71 thousand soms were transferred to the republican budget. This is a great credit to all of you. And thanks to you that Kumtor mine works round the clock, producing gold for the country,” he said.

The head of the company said that the launched project on gold mining at Kumtor mine by underground mining will contribute to the increase in gold production.

“In addition, the development of the Togolok gold deposit and geological exploration of the promising Dzhangart area will be important areas in the work of the company in 2024. These and other projects are aimed at expanding the company’s production capacity, increasing gold production, and improving profitability,” Almazbek Baryktabasov said.

During the meeting, mine employees were able to ask management of Kumtor Gold Company some questions and receive comprehensive answers.
