Kumtor sent equipment to help Jety-Oguz region affected by mudflows

The management of Kumtor Gold Company CJSC, in response to a request from Ulanbek Daliyev, First Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the Issyk-Kul Region, immediately sent heavy equipment and workers to eliminate the consequences of the natural disaster in the Jety-Oguz District of the Issyk-Kul Region.

Kumtor’s bulldozer and excavator will rehabilitate roads and clear riverbeds in the village of Jety-Oguz.

Early this morning, heavy rains in the Issyk-Kul region caused rivers to overflow their banks and result in mudflows.
