This year Kumtor Gold Company CJSC (KGC) has again received a record number of applications for the internship programs from the university graduates and summer students.

The Company entered into an office lease agreement with a total area of more than 5,000 sq. m. The new office will also accommodate the structures of the National Holding Company “Great Nomads Heritage” (the Holding), which was established in December 2021 and acts as the External Manager of the Kumtor Gold Company CJSC.

Kumtor Gold Company CJSC purchased tickets for a performance by Daniel Lozakovich for almost two hundred students and teachers of musical educational institutions and art schools in Kyrgyzstan, including talented children from the boarding school named after Abdraev.

Employees at the Kumtor Mine are now motivated to come up with and implement innovative ideas that significantly reduce the Company’s costs while improving production processes.

As of May 31, over five months of 2022 mining operations at Kumtor amounted to 69.15 M tons. In January-May 2022, ore mined made 2.75 M tons with an average gold grade of 3.33 g/t.

The School League, the largest national project for the development of children’s sports in the history of the country, was launched in 2021.

With the transition of the Kumtor mine under the control of Kyrgyzstan, the company’s employees have become much more active in introducing their own ideas and projects into production, which improve work and significantly reduce costs.

From January to April, the state budget received a total of KGS 11 billion 389.9 million.

14 mini-football teams of contractor organizations of Kumtor Gold Company CJSC (KGC) from Jety-Oguz district, Issyk-Kul Region held “Yntymak” football tournament in Barskoon Village with the participation of KGC team.

The combined team of the Kumtor Gold Company CJSC won the 1st place at the Charity mini-football tournament held on May 15, 2022, in the city of Kant among members of the American Chamber of Commerce in the Kyrgyz Republic.
