Kumtor Gold Company CJSC (KGC) continues the large-scale Gold Mill modernization process initiated last year.

From August 1 to 5, 2022, a safety marathon was held at the Kumtor mine among employees of Kumtor Gold Company CJSC and contractors in order to encourage the development of a safety culture and increase employee motivation and involvement in occupational health and safety processes.

From July 25 to 28, 2022, in the city of Karakol, with the support of the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic, within the framework of the “Karakol: Cultural Center of the Commonwealth of Nations” program, the III International Festival-Competition of Young Talents “KGtai – Start for Talents 2022” was held.

In order to minimize negative impact on the environment, Kumtor Gold Company CJSC recycles all production waste.

Kumtor Gold Company CJSC (KGC) provided to the KR Ministry of Transport and Communications the metal bridge constructions for restoration of the 3rd bridge across the Jety-Oguz River on the Jety-Oguz Resort-Kok Jayik Pasture road in Jety-Oguz Region, Issyk-Kul Province.

The opening ceremony of the Dem Training Center was held on June 17, in the Kyzyl-Suu village, Jety-Oguz district of Issyk-Kul region.

This year Kumtor Gold Company CJSC (KGC) has again received a record number of applications for the internship programs from the university graduates and summer students.

The Company entered into an office lease agreement with a total area of more than 5,000 sq. m. The new office will also accommodate the structures of the National Holding Company “Great Nomads Heritage” (the Holding), which was established in December 2021 and acts as the External Manager of the Kumtor Gold Company CJSC.

Kumtor Gold Company CJSC purchased tickets for a performance by Daniel Lozakovich for almost two hundred students and teachers of musical educational institutions and art schools in Kyrgyzstan, including talented children from the boarding school named after Abdraev.
