Employees of Kumtor Gold Company’s Balykchi Marshalling Yard have provided aid to needy families and the Bagyt Crisis Center in the city of Balykchi Issyk-Kul province.

Another charity event has been carried out by employees of KGC’s Mine Engineering Department as part of the program called “Kumtor Ambassadors “.

KGC Employee Development & Administration Department with the cooperation of the Sustainable Development Department organized another training on “Road Safety and Traffic Rules” for the children of the company employees.

Children from low-income families, who suffered from various fires and burns, received help from the Kumtor mine employees in the form of free medical services at the Prof. M. Mateyev’s clinic.

On December 6, 2017, Kumtor’s Ambassadors, represented by KGC Medical Department employees, together with Engineering Department employees, implemented another social project.

On the eve of the International Day of People with Disabilities, Kumtor Gold Company lent support to communities and organizations that unite people with disabilities in Issyk-Kul and Chui oblasts of Kyrgyzstan.

Kumtor’s Ambassadors, a group of employees of Kumtor Gold Company’s Procurement & Logistics, have implemented another social project. This time, Kumtor employees together with the local suppliers helped the Bishkek Municipal Residential Social Care Facility for the Elderly and the Disabled.

November 13, 2017, on behalf of Kumtor Gold Company, representatives from Employee Development and Administration, Balykchy Marshalling Yard, and Sustainable Development presented the training equipment to the Issyk-Kul Regional Vehicles and Drivers Registration Department of the State Registration Service under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Centerra Gold Inc. (Centerra) and Kumtor Gold Company (KGC) have summed up their operating results in the third quarter of 2017. In the first nine months of 2017, KGC produced 404,584 ounces¹ or 12,583.98 kg of gold and contributed more than 6.8 billion soms in taxes and mandatory payments.

In May 2017, the group of likeminded employees of Kumtor Gold Company launched the project intended to develop the children’s sport in the orphanages of Kyrgyzstan.

On October 14, 2017, a group of Kumtor mine employees visited the Belovodskoye mental clinic on a charitable mission under Kumtor’s corporate volunteer program called “Kumtor’s Ambassadors.”
