Employees of Kumtor Gold Company regularly raise money for charity purposes. This time, the fundraising has been organized among the company employees at the suggestion of Kumtor’s Medical Department to support the only Burn Unit in Kyrgyzstan

A group of Kumtor employees visited the Rehabilitation Center for Children with disabilities at Sokuluk on September 23, 2016.

Kumtor Ambassadors, employees of the Balykchi Marshalling Yard, Kumtor Gold Company, organized collecting of money, toys and clothing for local Crisis Center “Adamzatka Jardam”.

A group of KGC employees visited the Kok-Jayik mobile jailoo kindergarten last weekend to donate stationeries and textbooks the kindergarten needs for regular operation.

Twenty KGC employees jointly with the representatives of local authorities, youth organizations and Jashyl Bilik Public Fund cleaned three beaches in the Ton district and built an eco-beach in the village of Ton under the Green Point Project last weekend.

On June 22, 2016 employees of medical office of Kumtor Gold Company presented kitchen stove, blender and meat mincer to the First Children Hospice in Kyrgyzstan.

Opening ceremony of the Altyn Aary bee farm took place on June 10 in Ak-Dobo village, Jety-Oguz district. The farm was established within the Global Environment Fund/UNDP project, in partnership with the State Agency for Environment Protection and Forestry (SAEPF) and Kumtor Gold Company.

Employees of Kumtor Company’s Transportation Department and Administration Department (Uchkun Office) visited the boarding school at Krasnaya Rechka village and congratulated its fosterlings on the International Children’s Day.

Today, on the International Children’s Day, more than a thousand children from Jeti-Oguz and Ton regions as well as Balykchy and Karakol towns of Issyk-Kul oblast have received gifts from Kumtor Gold Company. Traditional congratulations have been extended to children from orphanages and rehabilitation centers of Issyk-Kul oblast, low-income families and children with disabilities. The amount allocated by the company totaled about KGS 500,000.

On April 23, 2016, the American University in Central Asia (AUCA) hosted the Careers Fair 2016, where Kumtor Gold Company was introduced as the main, platinum, partner of the event.

A group of Kumtor Gold Company employees visited the Karakol Zoo on April 16 with the aim of assisting its staff to get ready for the summer season. Kumtor employees organized a clean-up event at the Zoo, planted the seedlings, painted and cleaned the cages of animals. The most fearless volunteers helped the administration to feed the animals.

Employees and managers of Kumtor’s Mine Engineering Department in the frameworks of “Kumtor Ambassadors” program, took part in charity action titled “Emgekchil Ui-Buloo” (“Post a fishing rod to catch fish”), initiated by “Elim Barsynby?” Foundation.
