DEVELOPMENT OF AN INDEPENDENT TECHNICAL DESIGN ACCORDING TO THE NI 43-101 STANDARD

Kumtor Gold Company CJSC (Customer) invites (Participants) to participate in the qualification selection of a potential contractor for the provision of works:

  • Development of an independent Technical Design according to the NI 43-101 standard

Applications with attached documents, appendices, and price offers must be signed by the person (s) who has all the authority to sign commercial offers and obligations under the agreement, sealed, and the document format is PDF.

The person’s authority to sign documents must be confirmed by a power of attorney or certified copies of documents confirming his / her authority.

Procedure for submitting the applications

Potential participants wishing to participate in the qualification selection must submit applications in accordance with Appendix No.1 (Request for Proposals) and Appendix No. 2 (Rules and Policies) to the Invitation, attach the required copies of documents and send them in electronic form to e-mail.

Participants submit their Proposals for participation in the qualification selection of suppliers by e-mail.

The qualification application must be submitted in separate files in the following order:

Technical (qualification) part of the application

The letter for technical (qualification) assessment should contain the following and be sent to: report2024@kumtor.kg

For residents of the Kyrgyz Republic:

Required documents:

  1. A letter confirming your interest in participation;
  2. Detailed information about the company:

–     necessary permits, licenses, certificates, diplomas required for the provision of services;

–     reference list for similar services for the last 5 years (copies of contracts for previously performed works);

–     recommendations and reviews.

  1. A scanned copy of the certificate of registration of a legal entity;
  2. A scanned copy of the document defining the main type of activity (Charter), as well as a scanned copy of the decision on appointment as a manager;
  3. Scanned copies of the original financial statements for 2021-2022-2023:

– Balance sheet;

– Profit and loss statement;

– Cash flow statement;

– Capital flow statement;

– Unified Tax Declaration.

  1. Certificate of absence of tax and insurance contributions debts to the state authorities as of the last reporting date;

For non-residents (participants from other countries):

Required documents for the first package:

  1. A letter confirming your interest in participation;
  2. Detailed information about the company:

–     necessary permits, licenses, certificates, diplomas required for the provision of services;

–     reference list for similar services for the last 5 years;

–     recommendations and reviews.

  1. Scanned copies of the bidder’s registration and constituent documents;
  2. Scanned copies of the original financial statements.
  3. Scanned copies of qualification documents

The Participant also submits any other documents that the Participant will need to complete or prepare in accordance with the Customer’s requirements. These documents can be requested both during the selection process and after it is held as part of working with the winner.

The Selection participant (consultant/supplier/contractor) must meet the following requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of and proven experience with NI 43-101 standards
  • Good professional reputation: The Consultant must have a strong professional reputation in the industry. This includes successfully completing high-level jobs. Confirmed by the company’s profile, reviews and recommendations.
  • Technical Expertise: The Consultant should have proven experience in preparing technical reports for large open pit and underground gold assets, including projects with refractory ores. These projects should have reserves in excess of 5 million ounces (Moz) and processing rates in excess of 4 million tons per annum (Mtpa). Provide a reference list.
  • Work experience in the former Soviet Union countries: It is necessary that the consultant has experience working on projects in the former Soviet Union countries. Provide a reference list, copies of contracts for the last 5 years.
  • Professional Liability Insurance: The Consultant must have professional liability insurance coverage of at least for $ 10,000,000.

Deadline for submitting applications: 12:00 hours “15” April 2024.

Proposals submitted by the Selection Participants later than the specified deadline for the first package, and/ or applications, will not be accepted or considered.

By submitting application, the Participant agrees to all the conditions specified in the Company’s requirements.

Each selection participant can submit only one application.
