Kumtor Employees Provided Aid to Sokuluk Rehabilitation Center for Children with Disabilities

On Saturday, June 24, 2017, employees of Administration & Employee Development, Legal and Corporate, as well as the team of Continuous Improvement of Kumtor Gold Company visited the Sokuluk Rehabilitation Center for Children with Disabilities with a charitable purpose.

Owing to the money raised by the employees of the above-mentioned departments, 3 swings, 5 benches, children’s rugs, diapers, clothes and foodstuffs were manufactured, purchased and delivered to the Center.

“Ambassadors of Kumtor” have started providing targeted assistance to this social institution since last year. Kumtor employees are going to continue helping this Center, the next visit is scheduled for July of this year.

The Sokuluk Rehabilitation Center was established in 2014 with the aim to provide optimal conditions for upbringing and education of children with disabilities and help them to prepare for independent active life to the extent possible. Currently, the Center is home to more than 90 children, who need constant help.
