Official Commentary of CJSC Kumtor Gold Company on June 15, 2016

On June 13, 2016 a number of Mass Media outlets published the information that “the State Inspectorate for Technical and Environment Safety is planning to prosecute the President of Kumtor Gold Company for non-compliance with court decisions”.

The message gives reference that the head of CJSC Kumtor Gold Company must execute the decision of the October District court of Bishkek city dated 23rd of March 2015, which was to fill in the Act per form N-1 on circumstances and causes of case of the disease, occurred with a former employee of Kumtor in accordance to the Conclusion of the state labor inspector.

According to the investigation results, as required by the State Inspectorate for Technical and Environment Safety, KGC has filled in the Act per form N1 with regard to case of the disease, occurred with a former employee of Kumtor in accordance to the Conclusion of the state labor inspector. On May 27, 2016 the Act was approved by KGC President. A copy of the Act was provided to SIETS.

Thus, KGC has executed the decision of the October District court of Bishkek city dated 23rd of March 2015.
