Kumtor Company Finance Department (Uchkun office) Assists Krasnorechenskay Specialized Boarding School on New Year Eve

On December 28, a group of employees of the Kumtor Company Finance Department (Uchkun office) visited the specialized boarding school at Krasnay Rechka village for a charity purpose.Organizational assistance was provided also by the warehouse, drivers and Procurement Department employees.

Organizers had visited the school before the event to find out what kind of support should be provided to make it as efficient as possible. They had learned that there were no benches within the large school area. As a result, four benches were ordered, which were later painted in various colors and delivered to the school by Finance Department employees. In addition, sweets and fruits were presented to the schoolchildren ahead of the New Year.

“On the New Year Eve, everyone, especially children, wants to believe in miracles and Santa Klaus. Orphaned children need special care and positive emotions. Everyone can contribute to this good deed. We are happy to give a bit of our soul warmth to these children,” said one of the event participants, Irina Gamaunova.
