Kumtor Employees Provide Assistance to Kyrgyzstan’s Only Children’s Hospice

On December 2, 2015, a group of Kumtor employees provided assistance to Kyrgyzstan’s only children’s hospice. This institution was opened just two months ago by the Public Fund known as “Helping is Easy”. Kumtor employees immediately transferred 56,000 soms of the funds they had raised, toys, children’s books and daily necessities. This time, 13,000 soms and collected fairy tales were donated to the children’s hospice on behalf of Kumtor employees. Head of the Fund “Helping is Easy” Dinara Aliayeva expressed her utmost gratitude for assistance and said all the funds raised by Kumtor employees were spent on monthly salaries to nurses whose duty it is to do everything in their power to provide their small patients with as great comfort as possible.

Assistance to sick children through the Fund “Helping is Easy” being a regular initiative, Kumtor volunteers do whatever they can to help patients on a monthly basis. This year, Kumtor employees donated 80,000 soms to purchase pain relievers for patients in the Children’s Oncology Department in Bishkek.
