Kumtor Gold Company CJSC announces a vacant position of Mack/Kamaz HD Truck Operator

(Balykchy Marshalling Yard)

JOB DUTIES:

• Transport cargo to its destination;
• Conduct pre-trip/pre-start inspection of the truck;
• Refuel the truck in accordance with the safety rules established for the refueling station, ensure the truck undergoes technical inspection by a mechanic;
• Use PPE at the BMY area and when arriving at the Kumtor mine, at the security checkpoints, at the mine where PPE must be used and when departing from the mine; When following the route, PPE must be used outside the cab as necessary: during repair and other work;
• Keep the truck in a technically sound condition and check its technical condition before driving;
• Before and during the movement of the truck, check the placement, fastening and condition of cargo to prevent it from displacing, falling or creating obstacles to the movement; truck operator is responsible for the safe fastening of cargo on the truck, as well as for its safety during transportation;
• Observe all traffic rules established by the KR legislation, the driving speed shall be chosen taking into account the road and weather conditions, i.e., reduce the driving speed in poor road conditions and insufficient visibility, as well as observe the proper speed limits;
• Keep the truck in a technically sound condition and check its technical condition before driving;
• Keep the cab clean and tidy; take good care of the Company’s property;
• Observe safety rules when reversing;
• Attend training courses provided by the Company;
• Comply with rules and regulations established in KGC;
• Ensure the safety of cargo during transportation.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 5 years of professional experience;
• Driving license of category B, C and E;
• Knowledge of the KR traffic rules;
• Knowledge of the truck driving with a trailer;
• Knowledge of the truck’s design, functioning principles, technical characteristics and operating rules;
• Knowledge of the truck driving in mountainous conditions;
• Knowledge of the truck driving for loading-unloading of cargo;
• Knowledge of dangerous and oversized cargo transportation rules.
